This proved to be a fascinating and well-designed site. The first page is divided into four sections : Community; Cyberbiz; News; and TIL Online, which includes  Hit the Net.

Cyberbiz is a Web-based business directory. As yet it is at an early stage in its development, but if the rest of the site is anything to go by it will grow rapidly. Listed businesses can also obtain a web page created and hosted by Treadstone, the company behind the site.

The News section offers on-line magazines including Ireland Today and World Report.

Hit the Net under TIL Online is divided into the following subsections :

Overall content of the Treadstone site is at present limited -- but only in comparison with what will eventually be there. Its links are carefully selected, and reflect a uniquely keen insight and perception. Even if one does not share the same predilections as the site's editors, it certainly is refreshing to be presented with such new and well-formed ideas.  Hit the Net carries an unusual and diverse set of jumplinks to political sites, including the Nation of Islam in the US, the American Indian Movement, and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party.

Too much of what is available on the Web nowadays is predictable and stereotyped, all hype but with scant substance. Treadstone offers a welcome break from such mediocrity, and can be highly recommended.
